Dr. Sohail Masood began Crescent Healthcare as a pharmacy, but he soon recognized the need to incorporate skilled nursing services in order to provide complete patient care. In 1995, Crescent introduced infusion nursing services. Continuing to grow, Crescent purchased Apria’s home infusion operations in California in 1998. In 2004, private investment groups including Frontenac Masters VIII and MedEquity purchased the controlling interest of Crescent Healthcare. Crescent’s corporate office is in Anaheim, CA.
