Crescent Healthcare was founded in 1992 with a focus on providing alternate-site intravenous immune globulin (IVIG) therapy services. By 1995, Crescent Healthcare had incorporated skilled nursing services in order to provide comprehensive care to patients with chronic and acute disorders. In 1998, Crescent Healthcare purchased Apria Healthcare's home infusion operations in California. In 2004, private investment groups including Frontenac Masters VIII and MedEquity purchased controlling interest of Crescent Healthcare and appointed Robert Funari Chairman and CEO.

Crescent Healthcare has grown to encompass over 500 employees across the country. Since coming onboard in 2004, Mr. Funari has transformed the business by elevating the company from being one of many infusion therapy service providers to becoming a partner with health plans, hospitals, and physician groups. Comprehensive clinical management, high quality care, and the expertise of Crescent's intake team, pharmacists, and nurses have greatly contributed to the company's success.
